Your New Kitchen Should Be a Dream Come True.

Unfortunately, the remodeling process can often be a nightmare.

Your kitchen is one of  the most essential rooms in your home.  Not counting hours spent sleeping, you spend more time in the kitchen than any other room in the house.  You want this space to be comfortable and welcoming, reflecting the needs of your family's lifestyle and your personal taste.

Your kitchen also effects the value of your home. When you're ready to sell, its condition and appearance can make or break a deal with a prospective buyer.

A great way to make your kitchen more appealing, thereby increasing its value, is by remodeling. Unfortunately, you've probably already resigned yourself to the idea that remodeling your kitchen will disrupt your life for several weeks:

The fridge will be in the dining room, along with the contents of the cabinets.

After a couple of weeks, dining out will no longer feel like a treat.

There will be a succession of subcontractors traipsing through one at a time—the cabinet installers, the countertop specialists, the plumbers and electricians. They'll all be completely independent of one another, and any coordination that happens will most likely come from you. You'll be responsible for setting up their schedules, and you'll have to be there to let every one of them into your home.

The countertop specialist will probably wait until the cabinets are installed to take measurements. This means another long wait while your countertop is fabricated.

This is the usual scenario if you choose to work with a large chain store.

Signature WoodCrafters does it differently. We have something large chain stores don't have:
A Project Coordinator.

Unless you're a professional woodworker, managing your own kitchen installation can be pretty intimidating. That's where our Project Coordinators come in. They plan out all facets of our jobs in advance, ensure that materials are ready, interface with installers and subcontractors, handle scheduling, and troubleshoot any problems that may arise.

Having a professional Project Coordinator working for you means:

Your remodeling project will be done in a matter of days instead of weeks—possibly in as little as two days, depending on the size and complexity of your project.

Your countertop will usually be ready for installation at the same time as your cabinets.

You won't have to deal with a bunch of subcontractors.

You won't have to hassle with setting appointments.

You can relax.

All at no extra charge to you.

To schedule your own in-home consultation or to request additional information, please call us or fill out our request for information form.

A professional Project Coordinator is just one of the many advantages Signature Woodcrafters offers to its customers.

Here are a few more:

We're passionate about customer service.

You might not find this in the big chains. After all, if they lose a customer—so what? There are thousands more out there.

We don't see it that way. We believe that good customer service is the lifeblood of our business.  As a result we will bend over backwards to keep our customers happy.

We are available.  When you're working with our team you'll have cell phone numbers and email addresses. We keep our promises.

Reliability is one of the keys to a great relationship, and great customer service is no exception.

We listen to our customers.  We learn what's important to you, and make sure your project is completed the way you've envisioned it.

We address issues promptly.

We're helpful.  Even if there is no profit in it.

Our staff is trained to ALWAYS be helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable.

We take the extra step.

We've got the best design staff.

Whether you make a private showroom appointment or meet in your home with one of our kitchen designers, you'll have that designer's complete attention. She'll take the time to really talk with you and fully understand your needs and desires. She'll answer all your questions, explain all available options, and work with you every step of the way.

Our designers understand that your kitchen should be easy to work in, beautiful, and safe, while at the same time reflecting your individual style and taste. Designing a kitchen to be both functional and aesthetically pleasing takes highly specialized skills and knowledge, which our designers happily provide.

And believe it or not, we don't charge an extra fee for our design service. Some people think we should, but we don't.

Installation is critical.

It doesn't matter how good the design is or how beautiful the cabinets are—if they're not installed properly, the project will not live up to your expectations. And if the installers who come into your home are not courteous, professional, and neat, we know how frustrated and annoyed you'll feel.  In other words, the installation can make or break your kitchen remodeling job.

There is no substitute for experience. Signature Companies has hired and trained the best.  Our certified installation department is the most talented, knowledgeable, and professional in our market area. You can read the glowing compliments our installation teams have received from homeowners we've served in the past by visiting our Sample Projects pages.

But as good as our installation service is, we don't charge an arm and a leg for it. You can afford to have us complete your project for you—no worries, no hassles, no time wasted looking for a better installation price.

We're finicky about the quality of our cabinets.

In this regard, we're probably not a lot different from other companies. We deal in cabinet lines we know and trust, including Cardell, Decora, Century, and Bertch. Whatever your budget, whatever your style, we have your kitchen!

Perhaps what differentiates us the most from the competition is our experience, over the last 25 years, Signature Companies, our parent company, has installed cabinets and countertops in over 35,000 homes, while meeting the very exacting standards of many of the Mid-Atlantic's top home-building contractors.

We understand our industry.  We know from experience what's quality and what isn't.  We choose to work only with reliable manufacturers that produce top quality products.

Price:
You might be thinking that with our exceptional customer service, our design and installation expertise, and our insistence on using the best materials, that you're going to pay a lot more to have Signature Woodcrafters remodel your kitchen.

Happily, this is not the case. For three reasons.

First, we buy in volume. As we've already mentioned, Signature Woodcrafters is a division of Signature Companies, a major supplier and installer of fine kitchen cabinets for some of the top home-building contractors in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

Unlike the big chain stores, we don't mark up our products to cover large overheads.  Our pricing is wholesale pricing, rather than retail pricing.

Second, thanks to our 25 years of experience in the very competitive and price-sensitive arena of home-building contracting, we've honed our operation to be highly efficient. We've asked "what if?" over and over. We've perfected cost-effective design, processes, and procedures. This directly benefits our customers' pocket books.

Third, we just aren't into gouging our customers. Take for example, our installation services. We have some of the most reasonable prices in the area. (After all, it doesn't cost much more to do a job right than it does to do it poorly.)

In Summary…

With Signature Woodcrafters you're getting the best of both worlds—the personalized service and attention you'd expect from a small local company; and the substantial cost savings that come from buying in volume. Couple that with our passion for excellence and our expertise developed from 25 years of experience, and your choice is easy.
