As far as we can tell, we may be the only kitchen builders and remodelers in the Mid-Atlantic who provide professional in-home design assistance. Most companies require you to bring your measurements to their showroom and make your selections there. For an extra fee, other companies will send a technician to your home to take measurements.

Here at Signature WoodCrafters, we pride ourselves on being able to think creatively when we're confronted with unusual problems. Our designers are no different, and that can often save the homeowner a lot of money.

For example, one of our customers needed larger wall cabinets, but the configuration of her base cabinets was fine. Another company had told her that in order to make top and bottom match, she would have to rip everything out and buy all new cabinets.

When our designer assessed the situation, she came up with a better solution. Why not build a new set of wall cabinets and re-craft the lower cabinets with matching hardwood? All the components – wall cabinets, replacement doors and drawers, and the 1/4" hardwood for covering the base cabinet frame – were custom-crafted at the same time in our Pennsylvania manufacturing facility.

After everything was installed, it was impossible to see any difference between the top and bottom cabinets. Because of the creativity of our designer, the homeowner saved several thousand dollars and still got her dream kitchen.
