Thinking about cabinet refacing? Would you like an expensive custom cabinet look for the same price?"
Then don't replace or reface your old cabinets. ReCraft them with Signature Woodcrafters' unique cabinet remodeling process.
What is ReCrafting?
ReCrafting is a way to completely change the look of your cabinets without the expense or disruption of a major remodeling job. We remove your old doors and drawer-fronts and replace them with 100% solid hardwood in your choice of style, woodspecies, color, and finish; custom-built to your exact specifications.
Unlike in conventional cabinet refacing, however, our cabinet frames are covered with matching 1/4" solid hardwood with a classic beaded edge, creating a clean, upscale look that complements almost any decorating style. Matching solid hardwood is also used to cover any exposed end panels.
The Result? Beautiful cabinets with a high-end, handcrafted
look, but without the mess and inconvenience of a

What is the Difference Between ReCrafting and Refacing?
Plenty! In the customary cabinet refacing process, frames and end panels are covered by a paper-thin self-adhesive veneer known in the industry as "veneer tape."
In contrast, at Signature Woodcrafters we use real, solid 1/4" hardwoodthe same wood your doors and drawer fronts are made from and finished to match perfectly.
Our doors and drawer fronts are also superior. Many refacers make their doors and drawer-fronts from inexpensive woods covered with wood-grained veneers, instead of solid hardwood. They may look okay on the surface, but it's not the top quality you're looking for.
With our doors and drawer-fronts, you get both the rich beauty and lifelong durability of 100% solid hardwoodno plywood, no chipboard, no veneers. |
ReCrafting must cost more than refacing, right?
Surprisingly, no. All of our solid hardwood ReCrafting components - doors, drawers, frame covers, and end panels - are made in our own facility in the heart of Pennsylvania Dutch country. Because we've cut out the middle-man, we can pass this savings on to our customers. The price of having your kitchen cabinets ReCrafted by Signature Woodcrafters is right in line with what you would pay for cabinet refacing from one of our competitors.
How long does it take to install?
Once your components have been custom-crafted, the actual installation usually takes only two or three days. |
