Detailed Description:
This project was a conversion of a carpeted foyer 14 rise stair, with 9 box treads, 4 winder treads, and 1 bullnose into a solid hardwood stairway. The railing system was also a post-to-post system with builder-grade balusters. The stair and rails were ReCrafted in Oak with a Hazelnut finish. The railing system was converted to an over-the-post railing system with upgraded balusters and handrail.

Scope Of Work:
This was our second Stair ReCraft job and our first with winder treads. Installation of the box treads and bullnose took one day and the winder treads took an additional day. The railing system was converted in one day.
Approximate Material Cost:
1 Bullnose Tread = $250
4 Winder Treads = $200 per tread
9 Box Treads = $100-$150 per tread
Upgraded Rail Balusters = $70 per lineal ft
4 Newels = $100 each
Installation for Stair & Rail = $1,900
