The main staircase received a new volute and an over-the-post railing system. There were 8 box treads, 2 winder treads, 1 open tread, and 1 bullnose tread that were recrafted in solid Oak. Wainscotting going up the right side of the staircase was also added, finishing off the new sophisticated look of the staircase.

The basement staircase consisted of 10 box treads and 2 winder treads that were recrafted in solid Oak with a Hazelnut finish. The railing system that was added was a small over-the-post system that sat upon a new 8" plate.

The last part of the project was the recrafting of the upstairs hallway to match the new main staircase. The length of the hallway was 72 square feet with 4 doorway thresholds.

The total project took about 2 days to install.

Our oak staircases are beautiful and the wainscotting looks absolutely great. We cannot be more happy with the results. Working with you and your staff has been a pleasure.
